Alex Ferrín Blanco graduated in English Language and Literature from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2024 and subsequently completed a Master’s Degree in Advanced English Studies and its Applications at the same institution in 2025, supported by a collaboration grant from the Spanish Ministry of Education (MEC). He is currently pursuing a doctoral thesis, which focuses on the representations of old age in Anglophone literature. This research explores how ageing and memory are constructed and reimagined in literary discourse. Main research interests include age studies, memory studies, and the analysis of their representation in literature.
