TEAM 1: LITERATURE IN ENGLISH
This research focus centres on literature(s) produced in English-speaking countries and is structured around several research lines with a more specialized character.
TEAM 2: LINGUISTICS
Integrated by members of the SCIMITAR team, this research focus centres on the study of the interface between grammar and discourse, mostly in English, but also in (contrast to) other languages.
TEAM 3: HISTORY & CULTURE OF ENGLISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES
Members of the group working in this focus conduct research in the field of history and cultural studies in English, intersecting with medieval, drama and gender studies..
