Jorge Rodríguez Durán 

Jorge Rodríguez Durán is a member of the group of competitive reference  Discourse & Identity (GRC2015/002 GI-1924, Xunta de Galicia) at the University of Santiago de Compostela, and also a member of the research group Crosswinds (NUI Galway, Moore Institute). He is currently working on his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Manuela Palacios González. Entitled Literary Cartographies of Northern Irish Urban Landscapes, the dissertation analyses the way in which contemporary Irish female writers have represented the North of Ireland and its partition. As a poet, he was runner up the in the III Mazarelos Literary Award with the collection O Sentido Común and he has collaborated in literary journals such as Dorna and Grial and the Sermos Galiza literary supplement. As an editor he coordinates the Autoedicións Micromundos project, which publishes Galician poetry chapbooks.
