Sandra Gómez Garrido

Sandra Gómez Garrido holds a BA in English Language and Literature (2016) and a MA in Advanced English Studies and its Applications (2017), both obtained at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She is currently working on her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Patricia Fra-López. Provisionally entitled A Long Walk Home: Revisiting National Landscapes and Identity in Bruce Springsteen through American Literature and Culture, her research pursues to analize how the different representations of landscapes and spaces in Springsteen’s work reflect his own (re)vision of American identity. Her research interests include American literature and culture, Comparative Literature, especially the relation between music and literature, and Cultural Studies.
