Actualmente Sara es investigadora visitante en el Narrative Research Lab de la Universidad de Aarhus (Dinamarca). Anteriormente realiz\u00f3 estancias de investigaci\u00f3n en el John F. Kennedy Center for North American Studies (Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, Alemania), la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (dentro del programa posdoctoral \u201cMargarita Salas\u201d) y SELMA \u2013 Center for the Study of Storytelling, Experientiality and Memory (Universidad de Turku, Finlandia). Su trabajo se ha publicado en revistas como REN, Miscel\u00e1nea, IJES o Complutense Journal of English Studies<\/em>, adem\u00e1s de los vol\u00famenes Transcending the Postmodern<\/em> (eds. Susana Onega e Jean-Michel Ganteau, 2020) y The Routledge Companion to Masculinity in American Literature and Culture<\/em> (ed. Lydia Cooper, 2021). Junto con Elsa del Campo, coedit\u00f3 el monogr\u00e1fico \u201cToxic Tales: Narratives of Waste in Postindustrial North America\u201d publicado en la Revista Canaria de Estudios Ingleses<\/em> 86 (2023). En 2022 se le otorg\u00f3 la distinci\u00f3n \u2018Best Conference Paper\u2019 en la 8th ASYRAS Conference. En 2023 gan\u00f3 el premio \u2018Emory Elliott Award\u2019 concedido por la International American Studies Association. Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n abarcan la representaci\u00f3n de figuras paternas en literatura estadounidense contempor\u00e1nea, el giro post-postmoderno en literaturas angl\u00f3fonas y el estudio de la identidad (como) narrativa.
