Mart\u00edn Fern\u00e1ndez Fern\u00e1ndez\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>es Profesor Ayudante Doctor en el Departamento de Filolog\u00eda Inglesa y Alemana en la Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. Desde enero de 2022 hasta agosto de 2024, fue Investigador Posdoctoral Margarita Salas en el Departamento de Letras de la Universidade da Coru\u00f1a. En 2018, Mart\u00edn realiz\u00f3 una estancia de tres meses como investigador visitante en el Department of African American Studies de la University of California, Irvine. Es autor de The Emmett Till Trauma in US Fiction: Psychological Realism, Magic Realism, and the Spectral<\/em><\/a><\/span> (Peter Lang 2023), y ha publicado su investigaci\u00f3n en revistas cient\u00edficas como RAEI<\/em>, RCEI<\/em> y REN<\/em>, entre otras. Mart\u00edn ha sido miembro de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n competitivos sobre la raza y el cuerpo en la literatura y el cine de los EE. UU. (ref. PGC2018-095687-B-I00, AEI, EU), y sobre la aplicaci\u00f3n de los \u201cwaste studies\u201d en la exploraci\u00f3n de la literatura y la globalizaci\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea (ref. PID2019-106798GB-I00\/AEI\/10.13039\/501100011033). Sus principales l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n son los estudios afroamericanos y la literatura del sur de los EE. UU.<\/p>\n
