Irene Lens Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> se gradu\u00f3 en Lengua y Literatura Inglesas por la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (2022), donde tambi\u00e9n obtuvo el M\u00e1ster en Estudios Ingleses Avanzados y sus Aplicaciones (2023). Actualmente, est\u00e1 trabajando en su tesis doctoral con un contrato predoctoral FPU concedido por el Ministerio de Universidades. Su tesis, que se encuentra bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de la Dra. Laura Lojo Rodr\u00edguez, busca explorar el fen\u00f3meno de la intermedialidad en productos culturales digitales contempor\u00e1neos, incluidas series de televisi\u00f3n y pel\u00edculas, centr\u00e1ndose, m\u00e1s espec\u00edficamente, en c\u00f3mo las referencias literarias act\u00faan como estrategias de construcci\u00f3n de significado. Dicha tesis pretende estudiar la funci\u00f3n de la intermedialidad en el desarrollo y representaci\u00f3n de estados liminales en relaci\u00f3n con debates actuales de car\u00e1cter posthumanista y ecocentrista. Entre sus principales l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n destacan los estudios intertextuales e intermediales, los estudios fronterizos, el ecocriticismo, y la denominada ficci\u00f3n \u2018weird\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n
