Mar\u00eda Alonso Alonso<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0se doctor\u00f3 en 2014 por la Universidad de Vigo despu\u00e9s de licenciarse en Filolog\u00eda Inglesa e Hisp\u00e1nica. En estos momentos es Profesora Ayudante Doctora en el Departamento de Filolox\u00eda Inglesa e Alem\u00e1 de la Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, despu\u00e9s de trabajar como docente e investigadora en las universidades de Vigo, Edimburgo, St Andrews y en el Centro Ram\u00f3n Pi\u00f1eiro para a Investigaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n realiz\u00f3 estancias de investigaci\u00f3n en las universidades de Leeds, Durham, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y en el IASH-Edinburgh. Sus intereses investigadores est\u00e1n relacionados con la conexi\u00f3n entre literatura y migraci\u00f3n, x\u00e9nero y ecolog\u00eda. Es autora de m\u00e1s de cincuenta publicaciones, entre las que se encuentran tres monogr\u00e1ficos, cuatro n\u00fameros especiales, la edici\u00f3n de dos vol\u00famenes colectivos y art\u00edculos publicados en revistas de reconocido prestigio como The Journal of Commonwealth Literature, Ib\u00e9rica, Odisea, Journal of Romance Languages, The Journal of Postcolonial Writing ou Forum for Modern Language Studies, entre otras. Adem\u00e1s de su investigaci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n es escritora de ficci\u00f3n y poes\u00eda en lengua gallega. Su primera novela, Despois do cataclismo<\/em> (Urco), fue publicada en el 2015; su segunda novela, Red Lion<\/em>, se public\u00f3 en el 2019 por la editorial Galaxia; y su tercera novela, Al\u00e9n<\/em> (Bolanda), se public\u00f3 en el 2021. Tambi\u00e9n tiene publicaciones en revistas literarias y en antolog\u00edas de relatos en gallego e ingl\u00e9s. Colabora como columnista en la revista Tempos Novos<\/em> y forma parte del Consello da Cultura Galega como t\u00e9cnico del Arquivo da Emigraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
