Mar\u00eda de los \u00c1ngeles G\u00f3mez Gonz\u00e1lez\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e9 Catedr\u00e1tica de Universidade en Lingua e Ling\u00fc\u00edstica Inglesas na Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC), onde imparte\u00a0 e coordina as materias English Phonetics and Phonology<\/em>, English Syntax and Semantics<\/em> e Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis in English<\/em>. Mar\u00eda \u00e9 a investigadora principal de SCIMITAR<\/a> e liderou moitos dos proxectos de investigaci\u00f3n outorgados a este grupo de investigaci\u00f3n tanto a nivel rexional, nacional ou internacional. Entre os seus principais intereses de investigaci\u00f3n destacan a ling\u00fc\u00edstica funcional e aplicada, as\u00ed como a pragm\u00e1tica e a an\u00e1lise do discurso.
