His research focuses mainly on identity and subjectivity in the English literary tradition. Along this line, he has published on writers such as Milton, Swift, Austen, W. B. Yeats, James Joyce, or Salman Rushdie. He has authored titles like\u00a0<em>Las Br\u00f6nte y su mundo\u00a0<\/em>(2006),\u00a0<em>El individuo y el mundo moderno: el drama de la identidad en siete cl\u00e1sicos de la literatura brit\u00e1nica<\/em>\u00a0(2004). He currently studying the work of Alain Badiou and has written \u2018Derrida, Badiou, and the Possibilities and Limits of Spectrality\u2019 (accepted for publication in <em>Badiou Studies<\/em>).
