Jorge Sacido-Romero <\/strong>es Profesor Titular de Filolog\u00eda Inglesa en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC). Sus investigaciones se han centrado principalmente en los discursos ideol\u00f3gicos presentes dentro del texto literario y las tensiones que de ellos emanan. En esta l\u00ednea, Sacido Romero ha publicado sobre Joseph Conrad (Atlantis <\/em>2011), James Joyce (Papers on Joyce<\/em> 2012) o Slavoj \u017di\u017eek (Grial 2007), entre otros, y ha coeditado los vol\u00famenes National Identities and European Literatures<\/em><\/a><\/span> (Peter Lang 2008) y Sound Effects: The Object Voice in Fiction<\/em><\/a><\/span> (<\/em>Brill \/ Rodopi 2015). En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, Sacido Romero ha orientado sus investigaciones hacia el estudio de la narrativa breve en ingl\u00e9s, centr\u00e1ndose en la obra de la escritora escocesa Janice Galloway y dirigiendo dos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n sobre este tema: Modernism, Postmodernism and the English Short Story <\/em>financiado por la Xunta de Galicia <\/em>(2008-2011) y Women\u2019s Tales: The Short Fiction of Contemporary British Writers 1974-2013<\/em><\/a><\/span> financiado por el Ministerio de Econom\u00eda y Competitividad (2014-2016).
