Jorge Rodríguez Durán
<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Jorge Rodríguez Durán <\/strong>holds a BA in English Studies (2015) and a MA in Advanced English Studies (2016) from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Rodríguez Durán has also participated in an ERASMUS programme, studying at the University of Birmingham, UK. Jorge Rodríguez Durán participates, actively, in the university community, organising language exchange activities as well as lecture series on English Studies and Popular Culture. He is currently working on his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Manuela Palacios González. Entitled  Literary Cartographies of Northern Irish Urban Landscapes<\/em>, the dissertation analyses the way in which Irish female writers have represented and imagined the North of Ireland and its partition. Rodríguez Durán’s main research interests include contemporary Irish literature, ecocriticism, with a particular focus on landscape studies, and the relationship between culture, literature and the visual arts.<\/h4>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
