Esther Gómez López
Esther Gómez López was born in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 1987, where she finished her studies of English Philology in 2010. In the year 2014, she did a MA in Advanced English Studies at the same university. At present, she is working on a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Susana María Jiménez Placer, centered on the work of the American author Joyce Carol Oates; particularly, on how do individuals develop within a family and what is the influence of violence over them. Her research lines include gender studies, trauma studies, social science, developmental psychology and clinical psychology, among others.
